Your support will help fund the project’s Hawaiʻi storytelling team in their work to refocus education through the lens of ʻāina. In the Hawaiian language, ʻāina refers to land and Earth and all that thrive on them. Through a series of workshops, our team will be able to engage educators with experiential ways of teaching rooted in the concepts of ʻāina, and help them design curriculum based on a more inclusive representation of Hawai’i history and culture.
