Archaeology of Greenwood: Bearing Witness to a Century of Resilience

Your funding will help by providing compensation to teachers, students, and descendants of Tulsa Race Massacre survivors who will help develop and launch a new archaeology-based curriculum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, called the Greenwood Archaeology Curriculum. While other curriculums exist that address the topic of the Tulsa Race Massacre from a historical perspective, the Greenwood Archaeology Curriculum will be the first of its kind to bring archaeology and land-based storytelling into the classroom.
