Safeguarding the endangered oak Q. Insignis and its habitat

We’re seeking the funding to train 15 young conservationists from Costa Rica – one of the habitats of Quercus insignis – in the "Conservation Action Planning" methodology, which is used globally to plan conservation projects of threatened species. We will also host a workshop in the region’s cloud forest with biologists, conservationists, and local NGOs to provide expert guidance in participatory decision-making, resolving conflicts, and preparation of conservation action plans.
